Sketch Theatre Result

It bugs me on a lot of counts but I whipped it out in a little over an hour. I look forward to watching myself sped up draw it all again .

  1. Awesomeness ... I always though the Skreeeeee!! was from Neil Adams' robots in Green Lantern ... or maybe from that Giant Size Superman vs. Mohammed Ali (that I still have on my shelf -- yum).

  2. Thanks Tom.

I hate the right foot. I was talking when I drew that part.

Thanks again to Kali for the initial intro to this cool place.

Rick Schmitz I told her about the Seattle guy that would like to do it. She says you're welcome anytime you're in the area. Maybe an E3.

    Marty should do it.
    Jeff Ranjo should do it.
    Buncake lives too far.

I have to copy this before I post. My last attempt it blew up and gave me an error.

  3. I also notice you have to be a comics fan to infer that this says squee. It says Squff with my poor crop.

  4. You have to be an Ellis fan to infer the SQUEE.

What am I supposed to join?

(and I think the original sketch is more dynamic, hence my pref for it--tho' I don't know if deadbeats like myself can level any criticisms if I'm not posting myself...)

  5. Oh, and bitchin' drawing Ellis! I can't wait to see it take shape on the video!

  6. Doesn't "SQEEEEE!" come from Magnus Robot Fighter?

  7. Marty. You don't join, you just say you're willing. I'll send you the info. You could make a day of it. Take me and Ranjo somewhere to eat or something when you go to Hollywood/Gnomon.

I also prefer the rough. This went south on gesture and silhouette.

www.sketchtheatre.com in case you don't know about the web site Marty.

I think you meant Wilhelm scream of Robot death Rick.

    Thanks all.

  8. A Manheim scream would have beautiful harmony.

  9. You are correct Ellis, that is what I meant. Stupid crappy memory!

  10. "I have made the guests into giant pills as you requested."
Brilliant!!! It doesn't get any better than that!

  11. I suspect that is edited, post addition dialogue. I found it while I was looking for a picture to show Deane that had a SQUEEE sound effect example. Had a hard time finding one and settled on this. Who knows? Maybe it is the original script.

  12. I wondered if it might not be the original dialogue. It sounds like something out of Fletcher Hanks. Still, I'm sure I can find equally bizarre dialogue in a number of mainstream comics stories. I have the Magnus Archives from Dark Horse. I will have to search for that panel.
