Gaggerific. I hope you're believing in these. It's already a good pitch for Nickalodeon which is absolutely parched wondering where the next SpongeBob is coming from.
Thanks again everybody for the comments. They keep me going.
Beata, I thought that would happen. Now people will get used to the irises and then I'll change them back.
Ellis, yeah I'm really into this right now and hope I can get it out to more people soon. The website site (www.slushpilecomics.com) isn't up yet because a few artists are lagging so I'm hoping it kicks into gear soon or maybe I'll get a web designer to help me with a Cork site or something. I don't know where to go or who to turn to for that. Any ideas?
I hoping to finish pencils tonight on Cork 12, maybe start inking. We'll see.
FUN-NEE!
ReplyDeleteI love how (at the end) Poops so nonchalantly points out the obvious.
Now that we've gotten used to Cork's white eyes, it actually seems weird to see the irises ... almost as if they were drawn onto her eyelids.
Poor Gunner, bet he's going to need a whole lot of Pounce treats after that encounter!

ReplyDeleteDon't spell Nickelodeon like I spelled it when you make your pitch
ReplyDeletevery quirky ... VERY fun! Love Gunner. He could be a candidate for spin off ... given time.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully drawn and produced as usual Scott. How I wish I was a wealthy comic book publisher and could hire you full time to work for me.
