His health probably won't allow it these days. He's pretty much resigned himself to the conditions of his situation. Which is sad. I hope I end up better when I get 75.
The pics are great. I started showing up the following year. And I though it was GIANT then. Who would have guessed then it would become the slobbering abomination it has mutated into. Those first 10 years showing up on vaction, working the Books Nippon tables were the best. I miss all that.

ReplyDeleteBack when Shel came to the con in costume. As "man with hair." Just think how important that guy is to all of us getting to know each other.
