I guess I'm not that much of an early anime knob, but I only know that as Gigantor. One of the first Japanese cartoons I ever watched as a kid, but I liked Speed Racer and the occasional Astro Boy better, for the most part.
And yes, Rick, that theme song grabs hold of your brain and stays there ...
This is just a trailer only. The film hasn't even been green lit. Imagi will be doing Astro Boy 1st and then Gatchaman. This just being a trailer is great. At first I thought it was that last Tetsujin movie that the Japanese did but Nope. Funny calling it T28 but Tetsujin in Japaneses is IRONMAN and I bet they couldnt get the rights to the Gigantor name.
