  2. You had me at "On a fairly clear Monday morning ... "

I can't wait to find out more about this pillow-creature (LOVE its screaming face) ... and more about Poops and Newton and Vlad and Gunner ...

  3. That little creature is just too adorable. Maybe cuter than Vlad...

How long does the spell that changed Cork's appearance last? I would have thought the sudden fright would have changed her back.

  5. Thanks guys! Beata, Don't let Sam hear you say 'Poops'. Deanne, I debated seriously whether to have her eyes and wings pop back at that moment (maybe I should have, it was the right moment for it) but eventually I thought it would've taken away from the established mirror-image back and forth screaming and I didn't want to do anything to upset that rhythm.

  6. It's also way too LATE to use sudden fright as the reason Cork's wings/eyes revert; otherwise it would have happened when she first caught sight of Gunner.

It'll have to be another reason, such as her intent ... or is that kind of "toggling" magic a bit too tidy?

  7. Deane:
There is nobody cuter than Vlad.

  8. There will be no rules for her eyes and wings. I'll pop them up whenever it's funny.

  9. There's nothing funnier than a couple of characters equally horrified by abrupt discovery of each other.
    It made me laugh.
    Dadburn funny.
Funnier than a dog with a sleeping disorder.
The character design on the three eyed pillow manages to be Totoro cute
    but not too much.
