First Painter Experience (Positive)

Here is the gasmask drawing, now colorized using Painter (and a little Photoshop for more green glow around the eyes ...). More experiments to come.

  1. That's a nice color scheme to pick the shapes out of. I know it's clearer to me now that you've started to do some edges. Mainly that ridging thing on top. I wasn't reading that as conforming to the skull before. I saw it as a kind of hood ornament thing that sat into the side plane of the top of the head. I need to do some painting but this weekend I'll be doing some moldmaking.

  2. I see you are saving over old versions. If you do it all in painter you should be able to share an animated step by step movie after you are done. Looking good.

A nifty little painting program that costs only 20 bucks! It mixes paints really well and it supports PSDs. Theres a guy at work that loves it... I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I think there is a trial version that you can download and play with.

  4. That program looks really good. I might just have to give it a look/see, too ... for review purposes, of course!! ;-)
