Beautiful Anne Francis starred in the title role of Honey West, the sexy head of a high-tech private detective firm. This has been rarely seen. I know Goodson has been over dosing on Perry MASON so this is mostly to inform him.

also other Cult shows coming too....
BURKE’S LAW - SEASON ONE (32 total episodes)
THE STARLOST: A cult TV series produced in Canada -- set in the year 2790, these are the adventures of the last survivors on earth. Star Trek and Dr. Who fans will love these quirky sci-fi adventures.
From the early 70's starring Keir Dullea (Dave Bowman of 2001 A Space Odyssey)
I have very vague memories of the Starlost... I'd be interested in trying out an episode or 2. Wasn't Walter Koenig involved in that show in some way as well?
ReplyDeleteAnd anything with Anne Francis can't be all bad!
Anne Francis and John Ericson were both in Bad Day At Black Rock. One thing that's fun about these old TV shows is Asian martial arts are brand new to American culture and they have a lot of whacky takes on how to do strikes and throws. Pretty laughable choreography. Whereas the Avengers had a pretty good stunt coordinator that was a good Judo guy that had plausible stuff most of the time. I think Honey West preceded Emma Peel. But I'm not sure she preceded the Honor Blackman character
ReplyDeleteKathy Gale preceded Honey West by a year or two. Emma peel would have been a contemporary.
ReplyDeleteIMDB claims theer are 14 shows made Krayonzilla. Not 30. At a half hour that's less than 7 hours. I hope they don't want much for that DVD
Sorry Mr.Goodson. IMDB is wrong.

Yes rickart. Walter Koenig was envolved with an episode or two as I recall.
ReplyDeleteMr Goodson...how did you miss ALL that on IMDB? All the eps are listed

ReplyDeleteYou know I'm right...I'm always right.
ReplyDeleteOh, that disc is in the mail. Looks like it requires OS 9 or better. LMK how it works.
Thanks Krayon. Is OS 9 considered "classic" I'll find out.
