We had another great meeting last night. It's really becoming a great group with a nice assortment of regulars and new folks coming every time. Here is the work of one of the folks who turned up last night...

Gorgeous work. Where can I get a copy?
ReplyDeleteWOW!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this, Rick. I checked out Nate's blog to see the other pages, and was blown away. Some of his panels made me feel like he was channeling the ghost of Arthur Rackham (one of my favorite artists, and one Nate lists as well) ... only in a "cleaner" way. I'm now an official fan on Facebook:

He doesn't have a publisher yet, but it would seemt to just be a matter of time.
ReplyDeleteMe likes. I wish I knew about his color abilities a few months ago, I would have had my editor hire him for my 128 page "Champion" epic. Alas, instead he hired a guy who has no idea how to place shadows and re-draws my characters musculature with color.
ReplyDeleteLove Nate's work though. He should move up the ranks pretty quickly.
PS - Kick Hoberg in the teeth for me.
Beata, I saw the notification that you had become a fan before I checked out the Blog. I wondered, "what's that?"
ReplyDeleteBeauteous work. The blog page looks like a great place to dig in and learn about color and process.
Very nice artwork!
ReplyDeleteI like the tech talk about that flat creation software ... very nice!!
