Community Stop Motion Christmas Special

Hey guys, check out the stop motion Christmas special I worked on for the NBC show Community. It airs tonight, Thursday, December 9th at 8/7c. The episode is called "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas" and the basic idea is that one of the characters becomes delusional and wakes up one day to discover his entire world is stop motion animated like an old Christmas special. Here are some clips:

  1. I set the DVR to record the show. I look forward to watching it. It looks fun! I notice that Doug's name is also on it.

  3. Great work. I watched most of the clips. I'll have to watch it on Hulu so I think I'll have a day delay on that. But I'll definitely be watching. The cast across the board were really tickled with it. The main thing they liked was the feeling they were making historic great TV.
Haven't checked out the credit roll yet. So I don't know what your credit is.

  4. I assume there was a timed out 2d animatic/storyboard. Did you get to work on that?

  6. Just watched the Christmas Special on Hulu. Last night I watched 8 thru 10. It is the funniest show ever.
The Christmas Special was so well done. The story moved along and felt like I'd just seen 5 minutes of cartoon, not a half hour sitcom.
Great job. I was disappointed there didn't seem to be credit roll that included animators.
