Mona, You're a brick

As I drew this I was making a most unmusical trilling, a whistle and yet not a whistle. Possessing a throaty, exotic quality, running up and down the musical scale, but without adhering to a definite tune.
I was inspired by some comments made on my Blog reacting to my bleached hair.

For all you guys that missed my Doc Savage joke, there's the image I thought was so iconic it would be instantly recognized. While looking for it, I discovered a series of pages featuring frame grabs form the Ron Ely movie. The entire movie, about a frame per minute I would estimate. Whew, lot of effort for a bad movie. The photos even enlarge when you click on them.

  1. Looks like the beginning sketch of a Del Rey Sci-Fi novel cover. "The Goodson Effect" or "The Man Who Would Destroy Mankind" ...

  2. Is that Skribbl as Monk?

    Nice work!

  3. Yes, That is Skribbl as Monk. And that is rickart as Renny, with hands the size of canned hams. And Scott Benefiel as lawyer Ham.

  4. I never read the books so I didn't catch the Doc Savage references. I just like the sketch.

  8. Now we need a version with you bare-chested, your white shirt shreds flapping in the breeze, your broken wrist manacles dangling, and your neck veins bulging.

    And unhealthily tan.

(posting a photo of this is OK, too)
