I dig the dried up and dispersed watercolor. Composition and line weight make me think of Rembrandt etching. I don't get the quote in the title that would probably explain to me exactly what that Cow Like Titan is all about.
Thanks - I'm ALWAYS being mistaken for Rembrandt. But this is the first time anyone's refered to my ART that way.
The Outkast thing. He's one of the few "rappers" I like. He did a valentines day song. It's pretty funny. You can hear it at the link below if you scroll down 10 cd's. The whole playlist (best songs of 2003 according to an NPR reviewer) is great to work to.
Yup, I concur with Mr. G. I like the watercolor treatment a lot. I was doing some vignettes for AC2 last year and I was getting completely carried away with the Photoshop watercolor filter... I just love it!
This water brush pen and rotring pen combination has been really fast and fun. Add a little prismacolor pencil and it's pretty done before you even scan!
I was playing with the pshop water color filter back a while too, but found the blacks to come in too strongly, even w/ fading. I ended up prefering the Dry Brush filter in most cases.
This drawing didn't use any filters, just some help with the color and contrast curves.

But it's really got nothing to do with the creature.
