Here's more dry erase work. I was looking at a Jack Davis drawing from the EC Horror 2007 Calendar.
Tom, I'm very flattered that you posted some of that old stuff of mine. I've been having blog log-in probs--I've got them ironed out now, but was unable to properly respond to some nice things both shared and said. So I've decided that I am posting today--
come hell or high winds! And just wait'll you see my latest white board opus--"The Three Stooges!"
Ah, another drawing to go in my "Marty" time capsule file to be saved and re-posted in 20 years. Look forward to seeing The Three Stooges.
ReplyDeleteI want to see more pictures of your office and work environment. Take a shot of Ellis too. In fact I think it would be fun to see pictures of everyone's work space.
We do top secret stuff. I'm not sure we can share those images.
ReplyDeleteAre we not supposed to know that you are doing a Pirates game, and that one of the characters is named "Remy"?
ReplyDeleteAnd who are Ronzelle and Marlo?
I have figured out what they are working on, but I won't say. Take a look at the company's website... it might give you a clue...
ReplyDeleteI looked at the web site and still have no idea. I'm no Bruce Wayne.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... when I google on "Pirates" and "Remy" the first thing that comes up is a reference to Pirates of the Carribean... hmmm...
ReplyDeleteOK, this login thing has got me pissed. I keep going around and around with Google, I hope I've got it write now...
ReplyDeleteTom, you are very complimentary, thank you. But I didn't mean to be obtuse with my posting--this was just a doodle to occupy myself, and has nothing whatever to do with our game.
It's no secret that we are doing the "Ratatouille" game for Pixar. I was only hired because they believed (mistakenly) that I was an expert in all things Frrrench.
Pictures from everyone's workplace would be great. I'll try to put some up soon, secrets be damned.
Ronzelle is Ron Lemen, who I'd like to have give a seminar on color mixing for our artists, and Marlo Meekins is an amazing caricaturist who I'd like to bring in for a demo/workshop on caricature just for the heck of it. Check her stuff out on the web, it shames my work (the Shatner I did a decade ago which Tom posted was a direct copy of an early Mort Drucker, but I'm proud to say that I'm all about the originals these days, however compromised the end result).
Looking forward to the Stooges. I've predicted it will become an instant ICON of Stooge lore.(I've seen it) Lot of Stooge fans out there. Scott Benefiel is probably the worls biggest fake Shemp fan.
