Great web site. I'm glad there's now a place to go where all your work can be seen.
I like the pin-up girl illustration work. "Tyger! Tyger!", "Nymphs" and "Zephyr Repair" are my favorites in your illustration category. Wonderful detailed and complex without being confusing. You really need to publish a small booklet with these kinds of pieces. I'd buy it.
Congratulations, Scotty! Congratulations, Zana! (Scott's very talented, but obviously so are you. With the Cork and this main site, you've succeeded in presenting him to the world as the professional that he is. Nice work!)
On my desktop I have alittle homemade AVI that has me telling myself,
"Do a Bestseller."
That is the only way a creative person, cut loose from work, on his own, can hope to make some real money. Anything can be a "bestseller." KnickKnacks, collector plates, anything on shopping network. Porcelain Surfing Monkeys can be best sellers. Certainly a nice book of your art can sell very well.
The web site looks great! Good selection of artwork.
ReplyDeleteYah, I agree with Deane. And not even Rocket Richard is Rocket Richard anymore ... sad. Argh!!

Tom Moon has many great ideas. A deluxe book of your illo work is a good one. You should be routing likely publishers to that portfolio page

Your stuff--and the site--look great, Scott. I agree with Tom about the illo's of girls--great stuff. Find these very appealing.
ReplyDeleteAnd how 'bout those Hellboy/Ghost pages? Awe-stum!!
