A Walk In The Sun, 1946

Lloyd Bridges from Lewis Milestone's (?) "A Walk In The Sun." Loved the floppy hair.

Does "WIP" mean "Work In Progress"??

  1. Jeff is real lucky he got the old man's eye sockets. I always loved Bridge's face. I just watched him in an old throw away poverty row programmer called Hideout. Almost a nothing of a story but still enjoyable. Yay! A Walk In The Sun ins netflix streaming. I'll watch it. It's got Dana Andrews.
I just saw Andrews in a great anti commie flick from the 50s called The Fearmakers. Jacques Tourneur dir. Dana Andrews Judo slamming commies around right in front of the Abe Lincoln memorial.

  4. Yes, great likeness capture. Rick Geary liked the sharp shelf type eye sockets for a lot of his character design.
I just watched another poverty row Republic picture with Bridges. 16 Fathoms Deep. Lon Chaney jr and Dickie Moore. Bridges is a deep sea diver just out of the Navy, hiring himself out as a Sponge harvester. He does the extensive narration making it Sea Hunt before there was a Sea Hunt
