I like the first one best--the values aren't as crushed down toward the black end of the scale--is that just me and my monitor?
Sorry I missed posting on this until last in line. I like the new, colorized version. Opens up a bit of the vista in the distance ... Now that I am a free man of the world, I'm doing a lot more revisiting of these old ideas with the ultimate goal of making them into comics / film and/or TV pitches (just like the old days). So, look for more. And thanks again Ellis. You're not a JA to me!!! ....

The next Nate Slate story will officially be "Death Had Small Fingers," a sealed room mystery. Ooooh, exciting.
