Thanks Ellis!

Thanks for the pencil Ellis!  Here's the first drawing to come out of that pencil.  I haven't drawn with a pencil like that in so long I think I'm a bit rusty... I plan on tinkering with the drawing some more to pull more values out of it. 

This was a lot of fun... I think after doing that strip digitally for so long its pretty refreshing to go back to traditional media.

    Very nice piece. Glad you got the pencil that helped create it. I thought most of your pieces were brush pen. Are you doing Nearsighted Comics digitally?

    Yup, Nearsighted Comics is totally digital. I did it for expediency sake, but in hindsight, I think the drawing quality has suffered because of that approach.

    Still, I don't think I would have been able to keep up with 3 strips a week if I didn't do it digitally.
