I should be doing my Taxes

Actually I've done them. I owe for all my government cheeze.
It's time to do something about this being broke situation.

I might like this work. Meet new people. Insult them. Swim.
1970. Probably the year I witnessed the Clown take down

The only photo of a guy I remember as being wildly popular. He had to be avoiding having his picture taken.

Beehive hair style. Probably the last big year.

  1. Great laugh. Thought it had to be a recording at first it was so consistent. It deserves to be immortalized in the movies like the Wilhelm Scream.

  2. If I were a pro ball pitcher I'd make it a hobby to go around to county fairs dunking clowns like that.

In the above comment I wanted to name an actual pro ball pitcher, but my baseball ignorance prevents me. Who is currently the best pitcher around; the symbol of baseball pitchiness?

  3. Buncake could dunk him.
That laugh is standard for the tank clowns. Something that reaches out to the crowd and says "shut me up."
They also have to do a big hawking spit into the tank pretty often, clearing their sinuses. Then the joke is "Looks like candy, but it's snot."
When I was in high school, I witnessed our high school baseball pitcher put the clown in the tank about 5 times. The clown actually was silenced. It was almost a "hey rube" moment. No more balls for that guy, plus the clown cheated the last platform collapse by not going in the water. Epic encounter.
Probably is a fairly common showdown that does occur on the fair tours.

  4. The laugh, plus "high and dry" takes up a lot of patter time.

  5. I like the abominable vs. chihuahua!

Ellis, you are a vid-embed madman. Tell us the high school for whom your pitcher-friend played! What was the town? I'm hoping it's something like Erskine Bowels Memorial High or something....

  7. I just remembered the pitcher's name. Phil Morales.

  8. Okay, now that you've opened the subject Ellis, you need to post your high school picture.

  9. I'm actually using the yearbook that those dead Generals came from. I apparently don't have my Senior yearbook.
The picture on the baseball team of Phil Morales looks absolutely unlike the guy I remember. I remember a guy that looked like Dick Van Dyke's Dentist neighbour. Jerry. Of Jerry and Milly fame. I'll scan that group shot as well. He doesn't have a regular shot.

  12. I'm late to the party on this. I could watch that clown clip all day and never get tired of it. That laugh, the delivery - awesomeness.
