This is a sketch for a piece I'm doing for a "Retro Game" art show. I wanted to do something from a game I actually worked on, but I don't suppose anyone but us old timers remember Vectorman.
Yes, great fangs! Donkey Kong Country was one of my favorite games on Super-Nintendo. Everybody loves apes. I recently paid a buck for a book on Gargantua the Great, the great ape star of Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey.
I like the rigid skeletal teeth-jaws pushing around all the Ape flesh.

ReplyDeleteA small used-book store in Kensington that specialized in selling cookbooks and children's books. They're having a going-out-of-business sale.

ReplyDeleteThat is probably a sign of the times. Used book stores, a staple of Kensington on Adams Ave, closing their doors.
