Yes, remove the video bar.
Its not like they putting up videos of Sticky Jim or Ellis's immortal opus, "The Chin Puppet Movie."
AM i being a party pooper? It just slows down the load-time for our page. Would anyone object if I pulled it? I'd rather have us convert the video area to a revamped blog roll. They have that new style that includes a snapshot of each blog's latest post--it's nifty!
Oh, and here's a drawing to sweeten the deal. I was away since last Thursday, (scant internet access, etc.).
But I was thinking of you.
How's dat?
ReplyDeleteI like it. I think I clicked on a Star Trek video once in the entire hsitory of the video offerings. Blogs are dead anyway. I read it today.
ReplyDeleteA ha! No wonder the page loaded so quickly!
ReplyDeleteI will take car of the blog linkage this weekend. Promise.
Wait...you like it, like, you want to keep the video bar? Or, you like it, like, you like my plan, go ahead and do it?
ReplyDeleteWhat's the question?
Oh wait, did Rick already change it...?
Are you talking about the Lightbox Gallery feature? I'd like that to make a comeback. They (google) forced it on their blggers for about 3 days. Have they given a button to click to bring it back?
ReplyDeleteI think you are right, Ellis. I liked that feature, too. When I have more time I'll hunt around for it. I'm almost out the door to take 4 4th graders to Brickcon! (Lego Convention... eat your heart out, Jeff!)
ReplyDeletePart of the slowdown is when me and krayonzilla embed videos. I'm going to scrub the two I've added and just make the links. You'll see considerable speed up.
ReplyDeleteR you investigatin w hollywood book fair tomorrow Marty. What's the deal with that event anyway. It's always hot as balls every time they have it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great character drawing, Marty!
