Your Images Never Looked So Good

Click headline to go to the official announcement about Lightbox being the new norm for Blogspot image viewing.
I like it. I think it is better for potential portfolio uses. Storytelling uses.
I just don't like the strongarm roll out.
Easiest way to get the traditional view, with the higher rez you may have loaded the image with...Right click and chose "view image." There will be a single image as big as what you loaded.

  1. weird. Looking at my marker board guy with the pushed around head. I realize it could be interpreted as a rascist, thick lipped type of ww2 era cartoon caricature. I meant it as my own special little ugly mutant with a turtle neck sweater engulfing him. Or did I? The sub conscious mind is a bitch. Ask Dr Mobius.

  2. It ain't working. Neither in the example on the buzz.blogger announcement nor on your previous scans post. I have checked in Chrome and Firefox. Any guess at what I am doing wrong? Also and by the way, Do you know anything about Google sites?

  3. Yeah Ben. It's weird. I think they-(google) are having board meetings about it.
I'll have pages with 127 images to load up in a gallery and that will work.
Turn around and it won't load 10 images in a gallery.
So it's probably giving Blogspot-Google some unanticipated headache and they're in fallback position. Without lightbox as the new norm

  4. Which is too bad.
I have decide I really want that feature.
At least give us a button for it. We'll have to vote on the TAG blog how we want it.
But for a couple of personal blogs, I definitely want lightbox.
